Toshiba Tec Enhances Its European Printing Solutions Division

Toshiba Tec Corporation (Toshiba Tec) announced its multifunctional printing products division (MFP) has merged with its barcode printing division (BCP) in Europe. The transition process will be officially completed by March 31, 2015.

According to Business Wire, the merger will target transformational innovation by providing the combined product development capabilities, robust pipelines, and integrated technology. In addition to a wider global reach, including the emerging markets, Toshiba noted the new organization will remain its commitment to “serving the Retail, Education, Transport & Logistics, Business Services and Manufacturing industries” with renowned leadership and expertise in Business Printing Automation.

Toshiba Tec believes the merger has “created the most innovative and comprehensive Printing Solutions Business in the world”. Also, by tapping into experts who operate in Transport & Logistics, Retail and Manufacturing industry sectors at other Toshiba Group Business, the new Printing Solution Business will help customers achieve greater efficiency and performance in all their operational processes, continued Toshiba Tec.
