The Fight Will Go On—ITC to Review ALJ’s Determination Of Non-Infringement

On March 25, Canon petitioned ITC for a review of Administrative Law Judge Dee Lord’s determination of non-infringement for Aster, Ninestar, and Print-Rite.

According to Canon’s announcement on May 7, ITC has decided to review a decision by the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) granting summary determination of non-infringement. A review does not mean ITC will finally reverse the determination. But no matter what the decision is, neither the OEM nor the Aftermarket will easily give up.

As of this report, RT Media hasn’t received comments from Aster, Ninestar, and Print-Rite. We will follow closely to this case.
