Static Control Kicks Off Autumn Seminar Series

Static Control says the autumn series of its Seminars was launched on September 19 in Zagreb, Croatia with the next Seminar scheduled on Tuesday, September 23 in Belgrade, Serbia. The aftermarket giant notes its Seminars in the autumn series will be modeled after the highly successful events held early this year, which have included speakers from industry organization ETIRA and representatives from OEMs such as HP and Lexmark.

According to Static Control, each Seminar runs for a full day and includes complete remanufacturing demonstrations by technicians, covering printer cartridges of relevance to the region’s remanufacturers. A comprehensive presentation of COLORCONTROL Imaging Replacement Systems is included, explaining the opportunity, the selling strategy, and introducing the range of tools and resources provided by Static Control.

For Static Control’s customers, the events have introduced new products and services. As Maciej Sianos, Static Control’s Unit Business Manager for Poland, noted after a session in Lodz: “The recently re-launched website and the upgrade of our e-commerce system in Europe, which features 24/7 online ordering capabilities, was great news for attendees. Many customers were also happy to learn of our wide range of Kyocera products as this has proven to be a difficult sector for the aftermarket to gain market share.”

Other highlights include a commercial presentation concerning recent market data and what’s next for the industry, any other technical issues common to the region, and a Q & A session that gives attendees the opportunity to put any questions to the Static Control staff and guest speakers.

Ken Lalley, Sales Director at Static Control, concludes, “All of the guest speakers have shared valuable knowledge and we look forward to what timely information will be given throughout the autumn series. In particular, the issue of clones in the marketplace has come up as a common theme that clearly affects everyone. This, in turn, has highlighted how important it is that all corners of the industry cooperate to combat the problem–including the OEMs.”

The company noted upcoming events will be held in Slovenia, Bosnia, Hungary, Germany, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Spain and Portugal. To Static Control customers, Seminars are provided free of charge.
