State Printer Contract Awarded to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise

A small California-based business enterprise owned by disabled veterans has won a printer contract from the State Government.

According to the contract, Granite Data Solutions (GDS) will provide a selection of Lexmark single function printers to organizations within the state. All these printers have to meet the latest Energy Star requirements. These organizations include state agencies, city and county governments, K-12 schools, and higher education institutions.

GDS will also provide value-added services including basic installation, asset tagging, DoD data wipe, and disposition and disposal services.

To reduce waste disposal, the contract terms also include a take-back program to recycle unused printers and consumables.
