Staples’ Vice Chairman to Retire

Joseph G. Doody, Vice Chairman of Staples, will retire in September 2017, as reported by bostonglobe.com.

According to a filing Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Jeffrey L. Hall will replace Doody as the newly Chief Administrative Officer and Vice Chairman. Hall, who worked as Chief Financial Officer of SunEdison Semiconductor, will be responsible for finance, strategic planning, and corporate development, among other duties.
