Samsung Receives Three 5 Star,Ratings, Eight 2013 Pick Awards

Samsung Electronics America has been awarded three 5-Star Ratings and eight 2013 “Pick Awards” for its A3 and A4 MFP devices and the network device management solution. Products awarded include CLX-9251NA, SCX-8128NA, CLX-9201NA, CLX-9301NA, SCX-8123NA, CLP-680ND, CLX-6260FW and SyncThru Admin 6.

The three Samsung A4 color laser and multifunction printers, CLX-6260FW, CLX-6260FD and CLP-680ND, gained 5 Star Ratings for performance in energy consumption. Samsung SyncThru Admin 6 was named an “Outstanding Network Device Management Solution” for enabling administrators to manage fleets centrally and reduce maintenance time.

Mr. Tod Pike, Senior Vice President of Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division, said, “Samsung is dedicated to providing dealers and customers with innovative and powerful devices and recognition for so many devices from BLI demonstrates our leadership and commitment.”

Pete Emory, BLI Lab Manager, commented, “Samsung earned several 5 Star Ratings by showing impressive results in our extensive lab testing. Strengths included lower than average projected annual energy consumption rates, faster than average recovery times from sleep mode and automatic duplex to help reduce paper use.” Mr. Pete Emory added that Samsung’s CLX-9251NA, receiving the Pick Awards, stood out for its image quality, great administrative and feedback utilities, as well as reliable engine. Samsung SCX-8128NA was recognized for its reliability, network connectivity, image quality and high toner yield tests.

BLI’s Pick Awards are given to hardware and software provi by printing in-house ding the best performance in comprehensive evaluations. The company tests for toner/consumable yields, runnability with recycled paper, energy consumption and cost, recovery time, noise emissions and environmentally friendly features.
