Ricoh UK Joins a Billion Dollar Partnership with NHS
Ricoh UK now has an affiliation with the NHS’s London Procurement Partnership Framework (LPP).
According to The Recycler, Ricoh UK will be providing the NHS with equipment to aid the healthcare service through the LPP scheme. The LPP’s Clinical and Digital Information Systems Framework Agreement (CDIS) has been developed to improve the technology available for the NHS. The overall framework agreement has a potential value of £1.3 billion ($1.68/€1.29 billion).
Ricoh UK is specifically on the framework for Lot 3 Enabling Systems Supporting EPR & Digital 2020 and Lot 4 Specialized Digital Solutions (Innovation) & Professional Services.
The NHS said, “LPP has established a framework of suitably experienced, capable, qualified and resourced suppliers available for use by NHS trusts, foundation trusts, clinical commissioning groups, GP federations and other health and social care providers.”
There has been suggestion in the United Kingdom that the NHS has been neglected. However, the introduction of this partnership presents a step in the right direction as staff will have access to new equipment.
Suzanne Tidmas-Cole, UK Healthcare Leader, Ricoh UK, said: “It can be a challenge for healthcare organizations to find the right technology and partner, who can meet their needs both now and in the future. The LPP team brings professional procurement expertise to the NHS. Ricoh looks forward to working with clients within the framework to bring innovation and value for money so that they can continue to focus on frontline services.”
