Remanufactured Cartridge Providers Merge

Two Colorado Springs printer cartridge and printer repair companies – LaserPro II and Rapid Refill – have merged to operate as JetEx Inc, according to gazette.com. The new business operates from Rapid Refill’s location at 17 North Circle Drive.

Bill Price, former owner of LaserPro II, is now the general manager of JetEx while Kristine Simons continues to be the retail store manager. All the staff will continue to work for JetEx.

Mike and Ilene Warner, co-owners of Rapid Refill, said they purchased LaserPro II to reduce duplicate expenses, expand their product lines and serve more customers. They revealed the company will add in-store printer sales, copy services, shredding and office supplies.

Both companies were established in 1992. LaserPro II was specialized in printer repair services and sales of remanufactured toner cartridges while Rapid Refill was engaged in sales of remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridges.
