Production of Replacement Chips for Samsung Cartridges Stopped

The manufacturer of an entire range of printer supplies in Shanghai has released a warning notice to users of Samsung SL C-483W printers.

According to Orink, it is highly possible compatible chips for use in Samsung CLT-404 series of cartridges cannot be recognized by the Samsung SL C-483W printer released in Korea in February 2017.

Apparently Samsung has conducted hardware upgrades on its newly launched printers that used the CLT-404 toner cartridge series.

Orink has decided to terminate the production and shipment of compatible chips for use in Samsung CLT-404 series. It also suggests that Samsung might upgrade its printers released after February 2017 as well.
