Print-Rite’s 8th Innovation Award Kicks off

The 8th Print-Rite Innovation Award has officially begun. Having been part of RemaxAsia Expo held in Zhuhai every October, the Award is recognized as the “Oscar” of the imaging consumables industry. The theme for this year’s activity is “enhancing innovation while respecting intellectual property rights to promote industry development”. Excellent works from imaging consumables industry people nationwide are welcome to the prelude to 2014 RemaxAsia Expo.

In this year’s event, the two classifications of conventional awards for patents and concepts will be preserved while the excellent works from previous Print-Rite Award will be shown to review the history of innovation in the printer consumables industry.

The Award was initiated in 2007 by Print-Rite, the largest aftermarket consumables manufacturer in the world. Through the 7-year link between the government, industrial associations and enterprises, the contest has not only demonstrated the achievements of China’s aftermarket technology, innovations and intellectual property rights, but enhanced the industry’s consciousness to improve independent intellectual property, speed up technological innovation and compete fairly in international markets. According to one authoritative data source, over the past 7 years, patents granted to industry players (excluding those to Print-Rite) have increased by 20 times! 

Patents, innovations in the development, marketing and products for the print consumables industry are eligible to the contest.
