Pricing and Quality Issues Addressed in Romania

Over 130 cartridge remanufacturers from various regions in Romania have examined industry pricing and received technical updates on polymerized produced toner, in Bucharest.

Organised by prominent component supplier, the German-based Delacamp AG and the Romanian-based distributor, Toko, the seminar provided a forum for market and technical insights and an opportunity for attendees from small to large-sized companies to enthusiastically share experiences, trends and opinions on remanufacturing.

Toko, which has established a large network of resellers and remanufacturers in Romania,  provided local expertise and information, whereas Delacamp provided market trends and technical insights. Speakers included Thomas Spicker and Mihaly Sandor from Delacamp AG, the Recycler’s David Connett, Toko CEO Victor Matache and Toko Sales Manager Mihai Togan.

Spicker spoke about polymerized produced colour toner and the opportunities existing for the aftermarket and emphasized the importance of quality in an unhealthy price oriented market. Sandor provided insights into the production and functionality of OPCs and toner, with a focus on utilizing components to produce best results in remanufacturing.

The Central and Eastern European market continues to be an important segment as end users in these regions are learning the benefits of remanufactured cartridges with remanufactured products holding a substantial market share.

This seminar is part of Delacamp’s series of events in Central and Eastern Europe this year, with recent events held in Greece and Bulgaria.
