Office Depot Welcomes New Vice PresidentOffice Depot has made a new addition to its top management.
According to channelpartnersonline.com, Janet Schijns (pictured) has been named senior vice president of services for the company’s copy, print and technology businesses. In her new role, Janet will be responsible for Office Depot’s print production facilities to ensure large scale printing capabilities.
Previously, Janet was vice president of the Verizon Business Markets unit. She worked in the company for seven years, leading the company’s partner program.
“Janet’s extensive experience and proven record of driving superior business results and leading transformations make her the absolute right fit for this role. We are more than pleased to welcome her to Office Depot,” said Troy Rice, president of retail for Office Depot.
“It’s an exciting time to join Office Depot and an extraordinary opportunity for me to utilize my go-to-market, program, supply chain, technology and channels skills to achieve significant growth for copy, print and tech services, Schijns said. “With businesses burgeoning across the country, Office Depot is at the epicenter of what they need to succeed.”
