A global leading manufacturer of colors, flavors and fragrances has released its financial report in the second quarter of 2017.
According to inkworldmagazine.com, Sensient Technologies (Sensient) has reported a revenue of $338.5 million in the second quarter of 2017, seeing a year-over-year (YOY) decrease of $22.3 million.
The revenue of Sensient’s Color Group in Q2 of 2017 was $132.9 million, witnessing a YOY rise of approximately 1%.
The Flavors & Fragrances Group has earned a revenue of $185.6 million in Q2 of 2017, reducing around $23.9 million in comparison with the same period of 2016.
Furthermore, the Asia Pacific Group of Sensient has gained a revenue of $28.9 million in Q2 of 2017, dropping around $1.2 million in comparison with Q2 of 2016.
Paul Manning, the chairman, president and CEO of Sensient Technologies said, “The Color Group had another solid quarter, led by the Cosmetics and North American Food Colors businesses. The Flavors & Fragrances Group has largely completed its restructuring activities and can now focus on new product development and other growth initiatives. I remain very optimistic about the company’s future.”
