New Toolkit to Help Remanufacturers Understand WEEE2

A toolkit to help cartridge remanufacturers navigate their way through the latest European WEEE directives will be launched on October 1 in Coventry, UK.

The United Kingdom Cartridge Remanufacturers Association (UKCRA) has urged remanufacturers that “just about all toner and inkjet cartridges are now covered by the WEEE2 regulations, and this will impact on your business.”

Dr Michael Gell, author of the Impact Assessment Report and an expert in competitive strategy, ecodesign and environmental assessments will introduce the “WEEE2 Tool Kit”. He will guide remanufacturers on how to use the kit and share insights on how to navigate through the WEEE2 legislation.

Industry players are encouraged to join the association to receive such benefits as the impact assessment, for free. Registration for the event can be made online at:
