New President for Staples’ North American Retail

The vacant seat for president of the super retail chain, Staples North America, has finally been filled.

The office supplies company recently welcomesd its new president, Steve Matyas, the president of its Canadian branch, to succeed Shira Goodman as the new executive for the North American retailer. The company believes the new rearrangement will bring benefits by stabilizing the store network and fill the dynamic customers’ demands.

As reported by Tonernews, this position was created following the termination of the merger between Staples and Office Depot.
