New ISC Chairman Named

The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that Andrew Gardner (pictured), World Wide Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark International, has been appointed as new Chairman of the Board at ISC’s annual meeting held June 9, 2015, reported enxmag.com.

Allen Westerfield, President of ISC commented on the election, “Our new Chairman, Andrew Gardner, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”

Another three new officers’ nominations are as below: Thomas A Walter, Director–Aftermarket Sales, Marketing and Operations in Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. was named Chair-Elect; Aki Nagata, Supervisor of Legal Administration Division in Canon USA. Inc. was elected Treasurer for a second consecutive term; Glenn Gillen, Brand Protection Manager in Brother International Corp. was elected Secretary.

Westerfield further expressed his appreciation: “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”

The reporter stated ISC is a non-profit association for OEMs in imaging supplies industry with eight members: Brother International Corporation, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Epson America Inc., HP, Lexmark International, Inc.,  Samsung Electronics America, Inc., Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc., and Xerox Corporation.
