Moving from Print to Natural Gas

Hong-Kong-listed Blue Sky Power is adjusting its business model, and is planning to exit the print industry and focus on natural gas business in mainland China. The company cites fierce market competition and continuously declining profit margins in the print market.

Blue Sky claims that competition in the printing market is intensifying. “The revenue and gross profit margin from the print business is constantly declining and the printing business incurred a segment loss of HK$9.2 million (S$1.7 million) for the six months ended 30 June 2015.”
