More Seizure and Forfeiture Order on 337-TA-565

A Nevada-based imaging company received a seizure and forfeiture order from the USITC on August 16.

According to documents provided to RT Media, Lucky Print LLC was attempting to import infringing goods including ink cartridges and components into the United States. The U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (“Customs”) advised the articles violated general exclusion order (GEO) No. 337-TA-565. The entry of the articles was denied, and United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has issued a seizure and forfeiture order towards the company.

No. 337-TA-565 is based on the complaint submitted by Epson Portland, Epson America, and Seiko Epson Corporation of Japan. To date, the USITC has declared sixteen seizure and forfeiture orders related to GEO 337-TA-565.
