Memjet and HP Inc. Reach Global Settlement

Memjet have reached a global settlement with HP Inc. after a year of legal tug-of-war.

According to Memjet’s official announcement, this global settlement “includes the dismissal of all current actions between the parties and a cross-license.” Meanwhile, “the terms of the settlement are confidential.”

Len Lauer (pictured), CEO of Memjet, noted, “We are pleased to have reached a settlement with HP. We will continue to stay focused on creating innovative printing technology that enables our customers to realize optimal speeds, quality and costs.”

In August 2015, Memjet announced its suit against the Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, for infringing eight of its patents concerning its page-wide “waterfall” printing technology.
