Lexmark to Run Strategic Alternatives Review
To further unlock the intrinsic value of the company, Lexmark plans to conduct a full review of strategic alternatives under the authorization of its Board of Directors.
Lexmark International, Inc. also claims that a committee of independent directors has been formed to assist in the exploration, including financial advisers Goldman, Sachs & Co., transaction and advisory services firm Ernst & Young LLP, and the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
No further decisions or comments will be made until the results of an initial exploration have been made to determine whether any transaction will be entered into, or consummated.
