Konica Minolta Makes its 21st Acquisition

Konica Minolta is using its proven acquisition strategy to grow its managed print and IT services in the Washington DC area.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. has acquired the hybrid company Meridian Imaging Solutions (Meridian).

According to theimagingchannel.com, Meridian will help accelerate Konica Minolta’s growth in managed print and IT services through its strong government and commercial accounts. This will better position the OEM as being a full service provider with the acquisition. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta, Meridian’s headquarters will remain in Alexandria, VA, and will retain its 115 employees. Meridian will continue to deliver innovative, high quality solutions in office automation and operate under the current leadership of President and COO, Matt Williams.

The news source said this is Konica Minolta Business Solutions’ 21st acquisition in the last four years.
