Keeping it Simple is the Key to Success

Bishop’s Office Products, an office products dealer in the UK, has used its 25 year anniversary to reflect on what made it so successful.

Simon Bishop says his business—which started in 1991—was the first office supplies business to be awarded “Dealer of the Year” twice! Bishop kept expanding and developing even during the recession, giving him a larger storage facility with a broader range of products.

Bishop explained, “We keep things simple and try not to over complicate business. It’s a very competitive market but we think we have the edge over online retailers because of the values we hold dear.”

According to, Bishop’s Office Products used its 25 year celebrations to present a £500 cheque (US$648.59 check) from the proceeds of its printer cartridge recycling project to its favourite charity, Hospice in the Weald. A raffle donation was also held during the celebration and received more than £300 (US$389.16).
