Jason Doran Joins BCMY

Cartridge Recycler BCMY Ltd has appointed Jason Doran (pictured) as its new Business Development Director.

Jason said of his appointment: “I had a lot of offers from both inside and outside the industry and knew this was a key stage in my career to look at the potential growth of any company I would eventually join. After sitting down with BCMY and hearing their plans it became an easy decision to join them. Innovation and diversity are two things that help keep a company growing and BCMY has both of these in abundance. In my short time since joining the company we’ve achieved our ISO 9001:2105 and 14001:2015 accreditations and have recently purchased a new 33,000 square feet warehouse facility!”

Jeremy Gilchrist, Operations Director at BCMY Ltd stated: “Once we were aware of Jason’s availability, we moved quickly in recruiting him to the BCMY team. It’s not often that such an experienced professional becomes available in the industry, and having known Jason for over 5 years, we knew his expertise and energy would be an ideal asset to our fast growing and innovative team at BCMY.”

Simon Gilchrist, Managing Director at BCMY added, “we had to fend off a lot of competition in acquiring Jason, but having drawn up a short list of candidates who we would like to add to the BCMY team to make it achieve its targets for 2017 and beyond, when one of them becomes available you do everything you can to get them to join!”

Jason’s previous roles include UK Commercial Director of the ITP Group, European General Sales Manager at Static Control Components, a number of senior and sales and marketing posts in the consumer electronics industry, and his own business in the cartridge remanufacturing industry.
