Ian Elliott Appointed CEO of Power Ecommerce

Ecommerce technology solutions provider Power Ecommerce has appointed Ian Elliott (pictured) as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Elliott has told RT Media that his 30 years experience in the print consumables industry, the use of social and digital media, will help him in his role to connect with dealers and distributors to help build their businesses, particularly in North America.

According to Elliott, some Aftermarket cartridge remanufacturers companies, like LMI Solutions, have a good handle on how to use the power of the new media to build sales. But he also confided with RT Media that some Aftermarket remanufacturers continue to ignore the channels, to their peril.

Elliott’s executive level experience covers start-up’s, sales, distribution, reverse logistics & asset recovery, business development, executive consulting and management services. He spent 15 years at Nukote International, followed by 5 years as CEO at CertiCell and more recently 4 years as President & CEO at Print-Rite in North America.

Elliott is well versed in aftermarket distribution strategies, supply chains and the effective use of information technology in business.

Bill Vargas, Founder of Power Ecommerce, is confident that Elliott’s extensive experience will qualify him for the new position. With Elliott’s new role, Vargas will stay on as Chief Technology Officer.

Founded in 2002, Power Ecommerce claims to have one of the most extensive sets of data feed partners in the industry providing a catalog of over 75,000 unique office products stocked in over 60 distribution centers throughout the USA.
