HP to Move in New Head Office in London

HP will move hundreds of its staff to a new London head office in the Square Mile.

As revealed by CITYA.M., the OEM has agreed to lease the whole of 1 Aldermanbury Square, the 68,000 square feet building, near London Wall from Epic UK for 15 years. The building was previously let to Standard Chartered bank and underwent a major revamp last year, according to the statement.

HP’s UK & Ireland chief of staff, Susan Bowen, noted,“1 Aldermanbury Square provides the perfect location and environment for our team to create a first class European customer experience centre. With outstanding transport links and the capacity to host strategic customer briefings, our new offices will also serve as Hewlett Packard’s flagship London hub.”

Plus, it is stated that the company currently occupies just 23,860 square feet in the City at 88 Wood Street, which serves as offices for Autonomy.

    Dear HP,
I am writing to say how disapointed i am in your decision to stop providing spares and consumables for the HP L26500.
I have had this machine just 2 or 3 years and I am very happy with it. I am 64 years old and i will be going bust this year because I can not afford to replace it. I only have a couple of years left and was hoping this would get me to retirement but sadly you have seen to it that i will no longet be able to earn the small amount of money i earn to live. I do hope you are all happy with your selfs.
    Regards
    Peter Dell
