How does China’s “One Belt, One Road” Initiative Impact the Imaging Industry in EMEA?

It has become well recognized that the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) market has the greatest growth potential in the world. Most countries in the region have emerging economies and are at the starting or accelerating stage of industrialization and urbanization.

The “One Belt and One Road” initiative proposed by China provides a rare opportunity for economic development with the EMEA, especially the imaging industry.

Infrastructure and other investments are major aspects of the “One Belt and One Road” initiative. Investment will create jobs and higher consumption in each country, prompting new economic growth. New businesses are emerging and responding to new consumer demands every day.

Apart from the “One Belt and One Road” initiative what other economic dynamics are impacting the imaging industry in the EMEA? How should the industry react and seize new opportunities?

Originally from the UK, Mark Dawson (pictured) has been based in the Netherlands for many years. Dawson is a veteran of the printer supplies market and also has a deep understanding of the EMEA markets. He will share “New Opportunities to Prosper in the Imaging Industry in the EMEA” at the RT Imaging Summit & Expo—EMEA 2018 held at the InterContinental Hotel CityStars Cairo, Egypt on March 22 and 23, 2018.

Dawson founded Internet of Printing BV to help supplies resellers find new revenue streams and to optimize margins. He has previously held senior positions at Micro Solutions Enterprises and Clover Imaging Group. He will deliver a free, yet valuable and insightful presentation to all participants at the RTISE—EMEA 2018.
