Fujifilm Launches Compact Inkjet Printer Frontier DX400W
Fujifilm Corporation announced that it will launch the compact inkjet printer Frontier DX400W (“DX400W”) in Japan in early November 2025. The new model enables high-quality printing not only of standard photos but also of a wide range of photo products such as photo books and calendars, addressing the increasingly diverse needs of today’s customers.

Since its launch in April 2021, the Frontier DE100-XD has earned high praise worldwide for its excellent image quality and durability as a compact inkjet printer designed for various business applications. Building on that success, the DX400W introduces a six-color ink system that adds Sky Blue (SB) and Pink (P) inks to the existing Cyan (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y), and Black (K) set. This expanded color range delivers even smoother gradations and more natural skin tones, achieving superior image fidelity.
In addition to roll paper, the DX400W now supports sheet paper, allowing double-sided printing for photo books and other creative products. Its newly engineered printer body offers approximately 1.3 times greater durability compared to the DE100-XD, enabling a total print capacity of up to 400,000 prints for long-term stable operation.

The model also features wired LAN connectivity, offering greater installation flexibility—such as setting the printer and PC in separate rooms. With its enhanced functionality and versatility, the DX400W is designed not only to improve efficiency in photo shops but also to meet diverse printing needs in business and event settings.
