Representatives from the media and Epson’s channel partners were present at the ceremony.

Hiromi Taba declared, “The Saudi Arabian market is vital to Epson’s ambitious expansion goals in the Middle East, and being the biggest market in the region it was imperative that we have a strong presence in the Kingdom.”

He also said that Saudi Arabia’s technology sector has been witnessing steady growth in these years and he hoped Epson will take its commitment to deliver top quality technology solutions with the opening of the new office.

Mr. Tab noted, “The solutions we provide should address customer requirements, at a whole new level,” adding, “Our plan for the Saudi market revolves around a balanced focus on both the corporate and consumer segments, although the educational sector will receive particular attention as has the government’s major emphasis on this sector in recent years. Moreover, the opening of our Saudi office will also be strategically significant as we constantly strive to introduce latest technologies and as we pursue our target of sustaining our market leading positions in key product categories such as projectors, dot matrix printers and system devices.”

Epson revealed that it would bring more Saudi Arabia-based channel partners into its channel partner program. The program aims to reward partners for their consistent performance.

This new office in Riyadh will be equipped with the latest products from all categories. It will also provide strong sales and marketing support to customers and the channel.
