Epson Launches TAA-Compliant DS-730N Document Scanner
Epson America has announced the release of the new DS-730N network color document scanner, which complies with the requirements of the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). Designed to support a range of document management needs, the DS-730N features built-in network connectivity for federal government agencies and other organizations requiring TAA-compliant solutions. It also supports TWAIN and ISIS® drivers for compatibility with a variety of document management systems.

The DS-730N includes built-in Ethernet connectivity, Quick Send buttons for direct network scanning without a PC, and scanning speeds of up to 40 pages per minute / 80 images per minute. It has a peak daily duty cycle of up to 6,500 sheets and a 100-page Auto Document Feeder (ADF). An integrated color LCD display provides access to settings, maintenance, and user-defined jobs.
The scanner offers support for both Windows and macOS, along with optical character recognition (OCR) and Epson Document Capture software. Users can create job profiles, establish document workflows, generate searchable PDFs or editable Microsoft® Office files, and scan directly to online storage accounts. Additional features include double-feed detection, blank page removal, and tools designed to maintain image quality and document handling reliability.
The DS-730N TAA is available through authorized CaptureProSM resellers.
