Epson Issues WorkForce 2700-Series Printers

For less than $100, even a small home office can afford to harness the power of the new WorkForce range of printers that Epson promises will print sharp, professional documents at super print speeds.

Epson America has released its Epson WorkForce® 2700-Series of all-in-one printers designed in particular for the home office.

Users can connect to the WF-2760 and WF-2750 wirelessly through various mobile printing options, and the 2700 series all have a 150-sheet paper capacity making it easy-to-use, affordable and productivity- improving for users.

This series of printers, Epson claims, allows users to connect and print from a tablet, smartphone or computer using Epson Connect™ and partner solutions without using a cable. Routers are not needed when using the Wi-Fi Direct, and users can easily scan and save documents to the cloud. Built-in Ethernet is also contained within the WorkForce WF-2760, so that the printer can be rapidly and simply shared on a network. Meanwhile, it also supports NFC touch-to-print capabilities.

The WorkForce 2700-Series printers are backed by Epson’s next generation technology—PrecisionCore, of which Epson’s advanced thin-film piezoelectric (TFP®) elements are produced through a MEMS manufacturing process using semiconductor micro-fabrication techniques. The PrecisionCore MicroTFP print chip arranged in various printhead configurations is the core of this technology, and in order to increase the precision and print quality, the nozzle on the printhead can produce maximum 50,000 droplets each second.

Epson’s new series of printers can be ordered through major computer, office and electronic superstores, mail order, and the Epson Store, www.epsonstore.com in the summer of 2016. For detailed information and availability, please visit: http://news.epson.com/.
