Epson Introduces 3 New Additions to SureColor Printer Series

Epson recently announced the launch of three new printers, the 24-inch SureColor P7370, the 44-inch SureColor P9370, and the 64-inch SureColor S7170 signage printer. The SureColor P-series is ideal for professional photography, fine art and graphic design, while the SureColor S7170 is a versatile solution for small sign shops who require flexibility without investing in higher production machines

SureColor P7370 and SureColor P9370

Both the SureColor P7370 and SureColor P9370 feature a 10-channel 2.6-inch PrecisionCore® printhead with dedicated Photo Black and Matte Black channels. UltraChrome® PRO10 Ink with Violet provides an extended color gamut and delivers a wide range of blue hues, ensuring accurate color reproduction and industry-leading print permanence.2 With expansive media support, both printers come equipped with Epson Media Installer®, a software application designed to help control parameters for successful printing for a variety of media, including thick fine art papers and posterboard.

From professional photography to fine art reproductions to graphic design, the SureColor P7370 and SureColor P9370 embody the artistry of performance. Additional features include:

• No Photo and Matte Black Ink switching – dedicated channels for Photo Black and Matte Black Inks eliminate the need to switch between inks, helping to improve efficiency and minimize ink waste
• Intuitive operation – large 4.3-inch color LCD touchscreen allows for easy setup, control and maintenance
• Reliable printer design – redesigned industrial-level print engine for lasting durability and an interior LED light for convenient operation
• Extensive media handling – compatible with a wide variety of photographic and fine art roll media, sheet media and rigid boards up to 1.5 mm thick
• Advanced software support for enhanced productivity – includes Epson Cloud Solution PORT®3 for fleet management and Epson Print Layout software for simple print production

SureColor S7160

Utilizing UltraChrome® GS3 4-color solvent inks and Epson Precision Dot technology, the SureColor S7170 delivers consistent high-quality output. Built on the trusted platform of the previous generation, the SureColor S7170’s precise media handling system paired with a new, wider 1.33-inch PrecisionCore® Micro TFP® printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology ensures stable operation with faster print speeds.1 Additionally, a temperature sensor is placed closer to the nozzle plate to improve color consistency.

A newly developed Ink Supply System replaces bulky cartridges with high-volume 800 mL ink packs, using 80% less plastic than cartridges to help reduce plastic waste and prevent frequent ink replacement, while improving print shop efficiency. Supporting a wide spectrum of media, including vinyl, banner, canvas, and paper to meet customer needs, it also offers a precise media feed and take up system to deliver stable operation and printing accuracy for a variety of applications.

The user-friendly design incorporates a large 4.3-inch touch screen control panel to allow the operator to change print settings on the fly. With integrated management tools to streamline production, it comes with a 1-year subscription to ONYX Go Plus and includes Epson Edge® Print Pro RIP software and Epson Cloud Solution PORT® for production monitoring and fleet management.
