Epson Helps Philippine Flood Relief

Epson revealed that they have donated Php 1 million (approx. US$ 22,600) to assist the flood relief efforts in Philippine, and also plan to assist a local non-profit organization to distribute relief goods.

It is reported that Manila and its surrounding areas were severely affected by catastrophic flooding, due to torrential rainfall since August 17. Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc., Epson Philippines Corporation and Seiko Epson Corporation have donated Php 1 million (approx. US$22,600) to support the flood relief, through the local non-profit organization, Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). Plus, employees from the two local Epson companies plan to cooperate with PBSP to distribute relief goods to the affected areas.

Epson wants to express its condolence to the families of those who lost their lives, and hopes for speedy recovery of the areas damaged by the disaster, the statement said.
