EFI Celebrates 10 Years in Industrial Inkjet Business

Ten years ago, EFI acquired Meredith, New Hampshire-based Vutek, a leading developer of superwide-format industrial inkjet technologies. EFI then shifted Vutek’s focus from digital production and print MIS workflows to the industrial inkjet business. Now the company is celebrating its 10th year in this space.

EFI CEO Guy Gecht is proud of the achievements they have made since the acquisition. “Ten years later, the significant success we have seen with our Vutek, Jetrion and Cretaprint products definitely validates our decision to enter the industrial inkjet market,” Gecht said.

Scott Schinlever, joining EFI as part of the Vutek acquisition and now Senior Vice President and General Manager of EFI Inkjet Solutions, claimed, “I’m tremendously proud, looking at our accomplishments over the past decade, of the innovation that EFI has brought to industrial inkjet and the success of our customers across the world. Ten years later, when I look at the team, road map and market expectations, I can only conclude that the best is yet to come.”
