U.S. Printing Business Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The owner of a full-on printing business in America recalls adventures the company has experienced at the time of its 10th anniversary.

The company evolved from only focusing on ink and toner cartridges to offering various services such as copying, shredding and computer services.

According to yourhoustonnews.com, the Kingwood-based printing company—Local Print Solutions (LPS)—started as a franchise of an ink and toner supplier—Rapid Refill Solutions (RRS) in 2006.

Three years later, Rapid Refill Ink changed into a franchise named LPS for all of the services they can provide.

Ken Beard, the owner of LPS wants to find a way to give back to the community. He started from offering discounted prices to nonprofit organizations and student groups, such as National Honor Society and the theater departments. LPS has already adopted a nonprofit organization, Humble Area Assistance Ministries to provide printing services and supplies.

Beard also partners with the owner of computer repair services. He said, “Anything that has to do with printing or computers, we can do it. If we didn’t expand our services beyond refilling and recycling the toner and ink cartridges, we would not have survived.”

As part of the company’s celebration for the anniversary, customers who mention the ad displayed on LPS’s Facebook page can enjoy a 10% discount.
