Digital Manufacturing Hub to Facilitate Digitalization

Konica Minolta has opened its Digital Manufacturing Hub in Darmstadt, Germany, which acts as the global headquarters of its newly created Digital Manufacturing Business Unit, in order to help and support customers through the development of digitalization and the transformation of manufacturing companies towards digitalization.

According to Konica Minolta, opening the new Digital Manufacturing Hub marks the start of the company expanding its renowned and reliable IT services and complete solutions for optimizing document-heavy business processes in the B2B sector.

The Global Head of the Digital Manufacturing Business Unit is Johannes Bischof (left picture), President of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Deutschland. He will be supported by Steve Rommel, in his new role as Head of the Digital Manufacturing Hub in Darmstadt.

Johannes Bischof explained that this new Business Unit is a further important milestone in the timeline of Konica Minolta’s very successful history.

Konica Minolta is going to bring in a number of collaborative partners to do this, and the focus will be on visualization in all its facets, in order to reveal optimization potential and enable it to be unlocked.
