Awards Falls on Toshiba, Ricoh

DataMaster Lab has announced its 2018 Awards for Office Print Quality. The award goes to multifunction machines from Ricoh and Toshiba, which deliver excellent print quality as required in office environments.

Ricoh’s MP-C4505ex series is the winner in the 40-49ppm segment, following by Konica Minolta’s bizhub C458 and Sharp’s MX-4060N.

Toshiba’s e-sStudio 3505AC and e-Studio 2505AC won the gold in the segment of 30-39 ppm and 20-29 ppm categories, respectively, while the second and third places of the two categories both taken by Xerox and OKI.

Edward Bilson, Technical Director of DataMaster Lab said, “The 2018 Awards are the first fruit of a year-long review of our Evaluation processes. They are all based purely on our test results. All test results are published to our subscribers, so everyone can see that they are both independent and credible. As such they might differ from other industry awards. You can rely on ours.”

“We test productivity in real-world scenarios – we go a lot further that the ISO tests do. We test print quality, and our test engineers – who test all the brand’s machines – assess how easy the machines are to use,” Edward added.
