Clover Achieves Global Standard

Clover has attained an R2 Standard on its remanufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico.

R2:2013 is the premier global environmental, worker health and safety standard for the electronics refurbishing and recycling industry. The Clover Imaging Group (CIG) is pleased with the achievement at its core facility that processes about 3 million empty cartridges a month.

The CIG team put processes in place to make sure its transport partners carry the proper insurance levels and licensing requirements. Clover will also track products through its downstream vendor chain to make sure all resources comply.

CIG has put its health and safety system under the OHSAS 18001 standard as well.

Luke Goldberg, Clover’s EVP for Global Sales and Marketing stated, “Clover is proud to be recognized for our rigorous sustainability initiatives as part of the R2 Standard certification. The process took almost exactly a year to complete, and this confirms our team’s commitment to reuse and the responsible disposition of end-of-life commodities. It also proves our dedication to the safety of our employees and the overall work environment.”
