Canon/PrintFleet Partner on MPS

Canon U.S.A., Inc. announced a strategic partnership with PrintFleet to enhance its imageCLASS Printonomics®, a managed print services (MPS) program. Through the company’s collaboration with PrintFleet, participating Canon imageCLASS resellers can quickly subscribe to new value-add services that can help streamline ordering processes, reduce operating costs and maximize services for their customers.

The new services offered through the Printonomics program can be accessed by using the PrintFleet LINK web services tool. Participating resellers can now have supplies auto-fulfilled and delivered in a cost-optimized manner, access to a web portal called My Printer Manager for the tracking of those supplies, purchase consumables on a cost-per-image (CPI) basis, and gain access to a third-party break-fix service fulfillment network for the management of select non-Canon devices. Supplies Network is the wholesale distributor for this service.

“The imageCLASS Printonomics program has a unique place in the market as Canon strives to help empower resellers to meet the needs of their customers and structure their MPS programs accordingly. We look forward to our continued collaboration with Canon U.S.A. as we work together to help streamline the overall MPS process,” said Chris McFarlane, CEO, PrintFleet.

“Canon’s imageCLASS Printonomics program is intended to make MPS manageable and profitable for participating resellers,” said Junichi Yoshitake, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “Our expanded program will now offer enhanced methods to sell hardware, manage consumables and deliver services. We are confident these enhancements will help resellers implement or improve their MPS program and give them the tools needed to meet their customer’s needs.”
