Canon Appoints Pittick

According to Opi, Canon has appointed James Pittick (pictured) as Director of B2B Indirect Sales at Canon UK and Ireland.

He joined Canon in 2008 as Regional Sales Manager and has since held a number of senior sales and strategy roles. Most recently he was the Head of Sales, Strategic and Enterprise Business.

His new role will see him coordinate all partner businesses across the B2B segment and support the group’s current partner network.

Pittick’s appointment is part of Canon’s new B2B approach and increased focus on indirect routes to market. He is also tasked with identifying new types of partners whose current portfolios could benefit from the firm’s technologies and services, including strategic alliance partners and software vendors.

He will report directly to Canon UK and Ireland Director, Document Solutions Rob Ferris.
