Brother Industries Holds Ceremony To Inaugurate Philippine Facilities

Brother Industries (Philippines) held an inauguration ceremony at its factory located at First Philippine Industrial Park in Batangas Province, near Manila.

Many government officials attended the event, including Benigno Simeon Aquino III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, Gregory L. Domingo, Secretary of Trade and Industry, Lilia B. De Lima, Director General of Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Toshinao Urabe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of the Philippines.

To meet increasing demands in the printing business, Brother Industries (Philippines), Inc. was established in March, 2012. Another new facility dedicated to the manufacture of inkjet printers and All-in-One cartridges will be built in the near future. The new facilities, housing inkjet business and manufacturing operations, will bring the total workers by Brother’s Philippine plants to about 3,500 employees by FY2015.
