BLI Names Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Xerox Winners of 2014 PRO Awards

Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) announced the winners of its 2014 PRO Awards, naming Konica Minolta, Ricoh and Xerox printers as the best-in-class production print devices. Recognized products include Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS 1250/1250P for Outstanding Monochrome Light- to Mid-Volume Production Device, Ricoh Pro C5110S for Outstanding Color Light Production Device and Xerox Color J75 Press for Outstanding Color Light- to Mid-Volume Production Device.

“The bizhub PRESS 1250’s outstanding productivity and media handling, along with the wealth of feedback it provides, ensure that jobs will not only get done quickly, but with minimal interruptions,” said David Sweetnam, Head of BLI’s European Research and Lab Services. “While it may have the footprint of an office MFP, the Ricoh Pro C5110S delivers production-class capabilities at an entry-level price point, allowing production buyers with lower anticipated monthly volumes and smaller budgets to satisfy a wide range of their customers’ printing requirements.”

In addition, George Mikolay, BLI Senior Product Editor for A3/Copier MFPs, commented that the Xerox Color J75 Press is an outstanding device for easy operation, offering excellent overall image quality.

Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., and Tim Vellek, Vice President of Production Printing Business Group at Ricoh Americas, both expressed their gratitude for receiving the awards.
