Fuji Xerox Starts Up New Manufacturing Operation in Vietnam

Fuji Xerox Co. has officially announced the opening of its new manufacturing company Fuji Xerox Hai Phong Co., Ltd. The new operation is located in the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park in Hai Phong, Vietnam.

According to Fuji Xerox, the 57,563-square-meter facility—representing an investment of around 9 billion yen—will serve as a major manufacturing hub worldwide with efficient manufacturing processes and shorter lead times.

In addition, Fuji Xerox said the new company will cater to globally evolving needs for the latest products including small-sized LED printers and digital color multifunction devices. With an annual production capacity of around two million units, the facility will also manufacture major components for these devices such as, drum cartridge components and printed wiring boards. Also, the new company will meet its full manufacturing capacity by the end of fiscal 2015.
