Australian Designer Rebrands HP Inkjet Printer Ink as Chanel Perfume

According to Complex, Australian communications designer Celeste Watson has rebranded HP’s printer ink as Chanel perfume. The designer combined the iconic packaging of Chanel No. 5 perfumes with the contents of HP printer ink.

Commenting on her new creation, Watson observed, “This self-initiated brief is a response to how absurdly priced household printer cartridges are. This project aims to resolve the current discrepancy between the price of the product and its packaging.”

Complex said this rebranding “forces the consumer to consider the cost of such supplies: environmental, ethical, and financial”.
