Apex Launches Replacement Chips for 6 Epson Color Cartridges

The China-based chip design company claims it is first to market with new compatible chips for use in Aftermarket cartridges suitable for Epson EP-709A MFPs.

Released in Japan in September, 2016, the EP-709A series MFPs feature smart printing functions such as wireless printing. Its cartridge model ITH comprises six color inkjet cartridges including BK, C, M, Y, LC and LM.

According to Apex, its replacement chips for the ITH series of cartridges are equipped with ASIC design and SmartMatch technology. Apex says its products perform consistently with superior quality. The company also maintains that the reliability and security of the chips are comparable to the originals.
