1. Countless hundreds of thousands of cartridge refillers sit on street corners all over the country. Some estimate that combined, refilled cartridges take up almost half of the market share in the country.
 
2. Consumers in India may soon pay less for their printer cartridges. The High Court in India has ruled toner and ink to be computer peripherals, meaning they can be charged at the lower tax rate of 5 percent. 

3. The dot matrix printer market may be much smaller than ink and toner, but it is still very significant, particularly in India.
    
4. Now Konica Minolta have appointed distribution partners to launch 3 monochrome and 4 colour printers in India.

5. The Photizo Group says printer shipments declined to about 111 million units in 2012 and are expected to drop to 88 million per year, by 2017.

6. According to IDC, worldwide page volume has decreased to 2.98 trillion pages in 2012 from 3.03 trillion in 2011. A decline of 1.5 percent.
