Xerox Launches AI-Driven IT Platform
Xerox Launches AI-Driven IT Platform
Xerox has launched a new AI-driven IT services platform, signaling a broader shift in the managed services industry toward automation, centralized operations, and platform-based delivery models.

The company announced the release of Xerox IT as a Service (ITaaS), a ServiceNow-based platform designed to combine managed IT services, automation, procurement, and operational monitoring into a single system. The offering is aimed primarily at small and midsize businesses and commercial mid-market organizations.
The launch reflects increasing momentum across the IT services sector toward autonomous operations powered by artificial intelligence. As companies face more complex technology environments, rising cybersecurity risks, and pressure to control costs, vendors are increasingly replacing traditional ticket-based support models with systems built around predictive monitoring, workflow automation, and real-time analytics.
Xerox ITaaS is built on the ServiceNow AI Platform and is designed to unify several IT management functions that are often handled through separate tools and manual processes. According to Xerox, the platform includes predictive infrastructure monitoring, automated workflows, integrated asset and procurement management, and dashboards that connect IT performance data to business outcomes.
The move also highlights a wider trend among established technology companies repositioning themselves as services and software providers rather than relying primarily on hardware and equipment sales. Xerox described the platform launch as part of its transition from a product-focused business to a services-led, AI-enabled technology provider.
The platform’s rollout further underscores the growing role of partnerships between enterprise software providers and managed service firms. Xerox’s offering is built around ServiceNow’s workflow and automation infrastructure, reflecting a broader pattern of IT services companies relying on cloud and AI platform providers to expand their capabilities.
Xerox IT as a Service is now available in the United States, with the company planning international expansion through 2026.
