Ricoh to Raise Select Printing Solution Prices
Ricoh to Raise Select Printing Solution Prices
Ricoh recently announced that they will implement price increases on selected printer-related products effective 1 April 2026, citing sustained cost pressures across energy, raw materials and logistics.

The price adjustments will apply primarily to colour controllers and printer controllers for production printers, related optional components, as well as colour controller-related options for A3 multifunction printers. According to the companies, the decision follows prolonged efforts to offset rising costs through procurement improvements, operational efficiency measures and manufacturing optimisation. However, Ricoh said these internal efforts alone are no longer sufficient to absorb the cost increases.
Under the revised pricing, several high-end production printer colour controllers will see increases of approximately 5% to 6%, including the Color Controller E-28B, and the Color Controller N-50. Printer Controller EB-36 will also be adjusted upward to ¥2.205 million.
A wide range of Fiery® software options and licenses are included in the revision, covering workflow automation, colour management and graphic arts tools. These products, typically offered under one- to five-year term licenses, will generally see price increases of several thousand yen per license period.
Additional price revisions apply to colour management solutions such as Fiery® Color Profiler Suite, automation packages, special colour support kits, IPDS activation licenses, and expansion kits for image processing systems.
Ricoh emphasised that the price changes are limited to specific controllers and options, and do not represent a blanket adjustment across its entire printer and multifunction device portfolio. The company said it remains committed to providing high-quality products and will continue efforts to enhance value for customers amid a challenging cost environment.
