Canon Expands imageFORCE Series with 15 New Models
Canon Japan recently announced the introduction of 15 new models across five series under its imageFORCE brand of office multifunction devices, scheduled to be launch in September.
This new expansion brings five series of devices into the imageFORCE family, all equipped with cutting-edge imaging technologies—including the next-generation “D² Exposure” system—that ensure consistently superior print quality across the lineup.

Security has been designed in from the ground up based on zero-trust principles. The models feature a machine-learning–powered environment recognition engine that automatically recommends optimal security settings through the “Recommended Security Settings” function, simplifying configuration and safeguarding business operations. The new unified user interface, shared across Canon’s printing products, ensures a consistent and intuitive experience on any device. Real-time monitoring of print status, power consumption, and other operational data helps streamline management after installation.
By offering a wide range of models under the imageFORCE umbrella, Canon aims to meet diverse business needs and provide professionals with a new kind of power in their daily work.
The C5100 and 6100 series—A3 color and A3 monochrome models serving as central office workhorses—along with the compact A3 color C3150F, feature the newly developed “D² Exposure” device. This LED multi-chip light source delivers Canon’s highest office-MFP resolution to date at 4,800 × 2,400 dpi, producing smoother gradients, sharper fine lines, and crisp small text—ideal for proposals, architectural blueprints, and manufacturing drawings.
The high-speed monochrome 8100 series incorporates Canon’s commercial-press “R-VCSEL Technology” from the imagePRESS line, achieving 2,400 × 2,400 dpi for precise reproduction even in large-volume runs such as forms printing. The A4 color C431 series debuts a refreshed toner formulation for more vivid colors in both business documents and photos.
Environmental considerations are also built into the design. The C5100, 6100, C3150F, and 8100 series use approximately 30% recycled plastic in their main body materials, while the 8100 and C431 series incorporate recycled steel. All new models ship in recyclable cardboard packaging instead of expanded polystyrene, cutting down on plastic waste.
