Zoo Throws Party for the Planet

To celebrate the Earth Day, the Ohio-based Toledo Zoo has invited people to bring over recyclables and take part in cool activities that help them learn how to be a little “greener” in the future.

They’ve invited friends from local environmental organizations, set up booths to highlight their work in their communities and show people how to get involved. Most booths feature a take home project or a fun activity.

The zoo encouraged people to recycle electronics like printers, printer cartridges, computers, DVD players, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners and other old staff.
