Xerox Ranks among Top 100 Global Innovator

Clarivate Analytics has recognized Xerox as a Top 100 Global Innovator in 2016.

The research firm released its 2016 honors for the most innovative corporations and institutions in the world determined by analyzing proprietary data. This is the fifth time Xerox has been listed since 2011.

“This has been a stellar year for Xerox and our innovation team,” said Steve Hoover, recently named CTO of Xerox. “We continue to be one of the world’s top 20 patent recipients, we have launched exciting new products like the Xerox Brenva™ HD Production Inkjet Press, the Direct to Object Inkjet Printer, the Xerox Healthcare Multifunction Printer Solution and the 6515 A4 color printer.”

“We have received continuing recognition for our people like PARC scientist Alex Hegyi, who was named by MIT Technology Review in its list of top innovators under 35,” he added.

Xerox claims it will release 29 new devices later this year which will be the largest production launch in its history. With a focus on its global leadership development in digital print technology and services, the OEM believes it will help its customers innovate their communication, connection and work more productively.
